We are back with a new update from the production period of EDGE13.
Welcome to the Team!
In March, not only the new summer semester 2022 started, but also our onboarding phase for the newly recruited team members. The onboarding phase ended on May 9th with the official admittance into the team. Therefore, we are happy to welcome thirteen new team members!
TU Vienna Mentoring Besuch
As part of the TU Vienna Mentoring Program, several mentees visited TU Vienna Racing on April 6th. The students were all in the first or second semester of their mechanical engineering, environmental engineering or civil engineering studies. TU Wien Racing presented all of our modules and informed the students about the upcoming Formula Student events the team will participate in this summer.
We were very happy to present our work to everyone and hope to possibly meet some mentees in future application rounds.
Wiener Elektrotage
From June 15th until 19th, the Wiener Elektrotage will take place at Rathausplatz Vienna, and we will be there! Thanks toPorsche Media & Creative you can meet us and our EDGE12 amongst many renowned electric car manufacturers. Stop by for a chat with the team and many exciting insights. See you there!
Der Countdown läuft!
While the Rollout of our EDGE13 is slowly approaching, the manufacturing process is running at full speed. To our team's delight, the monocoque made it home safely and is getting its finishing touches. Meanwhile, our team members spend every available minute working on the production of the remaining parts. While Aero parts are taking shape, wishbones got laminated and also the wiring harness is reaching the final production phase.
We can already see the finishing line: Soon the EDGE13 will be ready to race!

Anyone who has known us for some time has most likely already heard the name Peak Technology. That comes as no surprise since the company has been one of our main partners for about 15 years!
Peak Technology is one of the world's most interesting high-tech companies in developing and manufacturing carbon-composite lightweight structures. In the aviation, aerospace and motorsport sectors, Peak Technology has a breadth of knowledge and experience that makes it unique.
